[/size]included in this list are all legendaries and all fossil pokemon (cranidos, archen, etc). obviously, you may not start out with a legendary pokemon, as these are not playable or able to be trained. these pokemon are only randomized on occasion, making them very rare. once you look at the pokemon restrictions in the member groups, you'll know if your character can have one of these or not.
on a side note, all member groups start with the following items: pokeball (5), super potion (2), full heal (2)
in addition, civilians get to have their choice of 5 berries. pirates get their choice of 5 stat modifiers (x-attack, etc). aristocrats and up can choose 5 held items. finally, criminals, soldiers, and vagabonds are allowed to have 3 regular potions.
