PLEASE NOTE! the "pokemon restrictions" section only applies to starting out. don't worry! your pokemon can grow in levels and more, rarer pokemon will inevitably be added to your inventory.
please also note that the "max level" should only be followed with one or two pokemon. other pokemon levels should be below the max one set -- to put simply, your max level is the strongest pokemon in your party.☠ THE PIRATE CAPTAINS the pirate captains, also known as pirate lords, are the most powerful sky pirate figures known. many have started battles and held their own against the royal guard's massive and powerful forces, and one has even been immortalized as the starter of the revolution between civilians and the royalty. a pirate captain can have whatever ideals you want, and they can also be the commander of their own crew. at the moment, we are only allowing four captains to be active at one time. all of the pirate captains are clamoring to get to the top by defeating the dictator and overthrowing him or her in a battle in order to rule.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 50. may have up to three restricted pokemon sans legendaries. may have as many as six pokemon.
SLOTS TAKEN: 4/4
a captain is nothing without his crew, and that holds true for all of the airships flying around. a crew can contain as little to three members and as many as fifty. whatever your airship can hold is how many your crew can be. crew members are the most necessary part of a sky pirate's life, as they work together in order to gain riches as well as support each other in times of dire need. there are many different jobs available for your crew member character, and many can be filled multiple times. however, pay attention to crew listings before making a crew member just in case all of the first mate slots or what have you are filled.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 20. may not have a restricted pokemon. may have as many as four pokemon.
JOBS AVAILABLE: first mate, airship pilot, strategist, chef, navigator, doctor, fighter jet controller, mechanic, inventor, gunman, swordsman, deckhand, cannoneer
airship pilot: steers the airship; uses mainly psychic types in order to help navigate. strategist: comes up with most of the crew's raid and battle strategies; uses mainly dark and psychic types, as their plotting can help immensely when trying to make plans. chef: can be extremely skilled or completely terrible, your choice; uses mainly fire and water types to heat up water and other cooking items. navigator: needs to have knowledge of the skies and stars; ability to make maps if the need arises doctor: an apple a day...unfortunately, most crewmen aren't the healthiest of eaters; uses grass and normal types to help heal wounds. fighter jet pilot: skilled in aerial maneuvers, and can also take the wheel of the main airship if the need arises mechanic: essentially, “Mr. Fixit”; needs to be able to repair just about anything; uses electric and steel types to help repair. inventor: sort of like the mechanic, except that these guys specialize in building...repairing, not so much; use psychic, electric, and steel types to build machines. gunman: needs good accuracy; uses a gun; don't worry, they can use swords too...they just don't do as well with them; use fire and rock types. swordsman: wields one or more swords; swords of almost any kind are allowed; don't worry, they can use guns too...they just don't do as well with them; use mainly flying and bug types to help their accuracy. deckhand: keeps the ship up and running; refueling, etc.; can wield swords, guns, and the like; uses water and normal types to help clean. cannoneer: essentially, ‘powder monkeys’; they fire the cannons; use fire types to help light cannons.

the dictator is the ruler of all -- s/he has been ruler since the war had broken out, and has kept an iron grip on the citizens and slowly squeezing money out of them all. s/he is the most powerful person in the world, but also one of the most hated. either s/he uses others for money or protection; it all depends on who they surround themselves with in order to rule.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 65. may have any restricted pokemon sans legendaries. may have as many as six pokemon.
SLOTS TAKEN: 0/1
the ruling advisers are the dictator's closest companions, if you could consider them as such. they are the four most trusted people and the closest to the dictator, giving him or her advice, battle strategies, and ideas on how to make more money. they are very powerful, both politically and with their pokemon.

: 0/4[/blockquote][/blockquote] the royal guard is basically a group of bodyguards for the dictator. they have been trained to be stealthy and smooth, being almost as strong as the advisers. they protect the dictator with their lives, but are not even remotely interested in the safety of the citizens. mistaking a royal guard for a soldier could result in corporal punishment.

the weakest, but also the strongest in numbers, the civilians are the blood and bones that make up alvarez region. they can have any range of job, from cooking to just staying at home to being a high ranking doctor. most citizens are middle to lower class and the majority live in poverty and squalor. they are all on edge about the government and are starting to want to revolt once more to try and overthrow the dictator.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 10. may not have a restricted pokemon. may have up to two pokemon.
this is alvarez's only form of civilian protection -- having been scrounged together by the population of the poor masses itself, the civilian soldiers are generally laughed at and made fun of by the royal guard and aristocrats. they have so far not posed even the slightest of threats to the officers. however, civilian soldiers do pose to be an imposing presence against vagabonds and criminals.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 25. may not have any restricted pokemon. may have as many as three pokemon.
also known as "a pirate with no crew." a pirate is nothing without a crew, of course, so these people tend to just fly solo -- they do everything a regular pirate does, except that they don't belong to any sort of group or crew just yet. they wander around aimlessly, trying to find small work or dirty jobs here and there, but otherwise have so far not really been troublesome.
pokemon restrictions: pokemon levels can be up to 25. may not have a restricted pokemon. may have as many as three pokemon.
from high paying jobs like assassination to low brow crimes such as stealing or conning, criminals of alvarez all fall in this area. they sometimes have bounties on their heads, and many of them are somehow affiliated with the sky pirates. criminals have many different reasons why they took the "easy" road, but many of them blame the current dictator for their problems and say that it's the reason why they had to do what they do.
