She doesn't support what the rebels do in the slightest, because if they wanted to have something done about the laws that they felt were unfair, all they would have had to do was speak up. Inciting violence against a law one doesn't agree with is not how to go about something; the best way to do something is to petition. And if that doesn't work, you have to deal with the law, because it is the law. She has a great amount of respect for authority that earned their position, though she holds those who abuse their authority in great disdain.

FAMILY MEMBERS:
HISTORY: Nothing was not hers if she wanted it, or at least, that was what her parents told her as she grew up. She loved them dearly, and learned so much from them; it is they who shaped who she is today. Owing to the fact that she was not born the healthiest girl in the world, she wasn't taught in an ordinary classroom.
Even had she been born healthy, her parents still would not have let her be taught in a classroom; they were the elites of society, and as such, they wouldn't have had their daughter learning among the poor people. Special tutors taught her as she grew up, and if there is one thing she learned from her life, it is the fact that that laws are meant to be upheld and not broken, no matter how bad they were. They could be changed, of course, but not through sheer force; that belief still stays with her today.
When she was six, she came in contact with her first pokemon, a Mawile, and they befriended one another over a period of a year; this is what sparked her appreciation for pokemon. Three years later, at the age of ten, her family made a decision; to depart for Alvarez, that land of promises and dreams in the sky. Her family did possess an airship, after all, and it always felt stifling to them to have to always be near the poor of society even when they did not want to be.
Besides that, it promised a good chance of them moving even further up in society; after all, there would be a power vacuum to fill up once everyone departed for the land. So they left, and were among the earliest to arrive on the floating island. As luck would have it, they settled upon the same floating island the Dictator would. As soon as the Dictator did show up, her father offered his services to the Dictator, owing to the fact that he first had to prove himself as a loyal subject, as well as the fact that he wanted to demonstrate to his now two daughters, Erin and Paige, what being loyal was. So their life passed as such.
Her father working for the Dictator, her mother doing motherly things, such as taking care of her two daughters, since her husband provided most of the income for the family, and the two young girls growing closer to one another as they learned from their tutors.
Three years after they arrived in Alvarez, Paige managed to convince her sister, Erin, to ask their father to go seeking an impossibly rare pokemon, located in an extremely hostile area of the sky; at the time, Erin did not know the area said rare pokemon was supposed to frequent was dangerous, and after some pleading and begging from the two of them, he did as they asked, always willing to please his daughters. He never came back from that journey seven years ago.
For a while, the family got by due to the large amount of funds they had gained while living in the now abandoned Unova region, and they were plentiful. In fact, they still are plentiful, so the reason Erin decided to approach the Dictator the same as her father had done, when she was eighteen, was purely out of devotion to her father. She regretted sending him off to his demise, and as such, wanted to honor his memory. Besides, she had seen too much crime, even from her sheltered life, and she wanted to change that.
It took a while, a long while to her, but in a year's time, she had proven herself as loyal to the Dictator, due to her sharp wit, her father's work for him, and her attitude when it came to the law, as well as who ruled absolutely. Now she is essentially the adviser when it comes to the law, such as what to do with it, whether it needs to be changed, and all those other sorts of things.
