however, there is more to this brunette girl than just her manipulation and desire to do what she wants, get what she wants for whatever reason. she actually is a generally nice person, she likes going and having a good time, and taking the time to sit back and relax with her Pokemon and those that she does deem as close to her. sure, she can come off as cold, or rather stubborn to those who don't know her all that well, but for those who do know that corbin enjoys many different things, even if some of those things are the things that got her into a fair amount of trouble. but hey, as far as she's concerned you've only got one life to live so you might as well make the most of it. so unless one is willing to put up with, perhaps, the craziness that corbin can be, then they may want to stay away from her, seeing as how she's not about to hold herself back without a real reason.

HISTORY: being the only girl in a family, is probably the reason corbin is the rough n' tough girl that she is, her mom died when she was seven and all she's had as role models are her so called father and her older brothers. and they were all doing things that were considered relatively illegal, and while she seemed to be opposed to it at first, when she hit the correct age she was moved into the teaching stages of becoming a con-artist, as well as a professional pick-pocket as her father often called it. it didn't take all that long for corbin to figure out the ropes, and what was expected of her, and as she got older, she only got better at it and what she was in fact, able to do with these sets of skills.
so as far as she is concerned, she's always know the "family" business, and so the thought of becoming a pirate never really stood otu to her. she thought that she would always do what she'd been raised to do, con people of of their money, or what they may have in their pockets from their pick-pocketing. and because of this she obtained the wanted bounty on her head, which is why she up and left her home without much of a second thought. there was no way she was going to stick around and wait for the guards to come and arrest her, so she joined up with the first pirate crew that she came upon.
she took to the skies without many problems, sure she was the one who did all the dirty work at first, the more experienced workers sort of doing the hazing but it didn't take her too long before she and the Pokemon she had with her worked their way up the chain. And found themselves as first mates to this pirate crew, hell, she even loved what it was they were doing on the pirate ship, and what the morals and what seemed to be goals were when it came to the captain and what he wanted to do. So'd been there for a while, and she isn't about to simply turn her back and go back to the life she had before, besides her coning and pickpocketing skills she has now are things that she believes helps out a great amount when it comes to the crew and their deeds.
