elliott is what you call a stand-up guy: reliable, trustworthy, and honest. it is for such admirable qualities, no doubt, that he became a royal guard. with unwavering loyalty to his superiors, elliott would willingly take a bullet for his friends, family, or government. but why? it was always in his nature to "take one for the team" – what's the problem with that, so long as everyone benefits? in this way, he is terribly naive and innocent, for he seems completely oblivious to the more negative traits of his liege... or perhaps he does not realize the severity of the man's crimes, that the people of alvarez are not benefitting from his policies? no matter! moving on, elliott is over-protective and perhaps a bit paranoid: he views women as constant victims, unable to hold their own without their pokemon, while men (peasants, at least) are volatile and untrustworthy, this stereotype no doubt taken from his deadbeat father. regardless of who you are, however, elliott is very quiet, introverted, but hardly shy or impolite.
