Friends - - -
Magnus isn’t exactly a friendly person himself, which means he generally has little interest in befriending others unless they are of some value or use to him. Thanks to the fact that his childhood was far from great, and any ‘good’ life he had was entirely military based, he finds the company of others for furthering a purpose only. This doesn’t mean he’s entirely opposed to making friends though… it’s just a bit harder for him to see a person as a friend and not just as an acquaintance or a tool he could use.
Friends of his have to know that at times, he is an extremely temperamental individual. At his worst, he will not hesitate to tear even his closest contacts limb from limb. He’s hard to handle at best, but rarely outwardly shows it. He hides much of who he is behind the façade of a perfect gentleman and isn’t too happy when people begin to crack through this, either getting rid of them from the equation or simply abandoning them. At his worst and at his best, persistence is key to get through to him.
Breaking through to Magnus is difficult; the gentlemanly, indifferent mask is hard to get past. To friends, he’s intensely loyal and fiercely protective. Letting them fend for themselves is completely out of the question, of course. He will fight their fights and defend them the best he could.
Enemies - - -
All his enemies are dead.
Let’s just say, Magnus deals with enemies in the most streamlined and efficient way he knows how. Actually becoming his enemy is rather easy, if you know how to do so. Just beware that he holds grudges forever, and that one better sleep with one eye open after Magnus does begin disliking them. To make a long story short, he is definitely not above eliminating his threats, and the threats of his friends and kin. He also doesn’t take too much of a liking towards those who begin to see or suspect him of what he does, and those are quickly marked down as enemies. Don’t mix this up with those who try and break through to him, which is entirely different, and stand a chance of befriending him at least.
Lovers - - -
Magnus is a rapist, serial killer manwhore. Really? Do you really want to throw some poor sap with him? He doesn’t have an issue with lovers, plural. He isn’t exactly one to stay true to a person, and if he does, it often isn’t for too long and only under some special circumstance. Magnus is much more up for drunken nights, hatesex and flings, to say the least. The more void of emotional attachment it is, the better, but in reality it’s as simple as anything goes.
True attraction plays a number on his mind. Magnus is an undiagnosed sociopath and possibly an undiagnosed psychopath, and so doesn’t think and feel about love in the same way as most do. In the past, learning to love his own adoptive family took him a couple of years to adjust. He finds himself flighty and panicky when it comes down to such things and unlike his usual self, often ops to remove himself from the situation and leave.
He’s a natural born heartbreaker in every sense of the word.
Other - - -
Anything and everything, just throw it here. As far as adoptive family goes, they’re all accounted for, so they’re unavailable to be played and basically the only restriction. Magnus was an orphan of war, therefore he doesn’t know any blood related family. Childhood friends, employers during his several years away from home, soldiers in the same unit, go nuts.
