A slight roll of his eyes and a small laugh, and Harley was done, already looking back to the battle again. Tomberlin was flambe'd like a chicken dinner, lying on the floor for a few moments before struggling to stand. He wiped the corner of his mouth and snarled, rushing forward before staggering a little. His leg had been burned from the Charizard's attack. With a growl, the Scrafty tried to look as intimidating as possible, launching a facade at her.
Harley watched the Pidgeot fall swiftly to the ground, the woman calling him back before he actually hit the ground. He smiled and gave a salute up to Solex, who screeched in return -- her victory wasn't one to celebrate for long, as she was suddenly hit on the side with a fierce retaliate. She screeched and flew to the side, her flying patterns staggered and exhausted. "Back to me, you did well!" Harley called, sending back Solex before picking out another ball on his belt. He tossed it out, revealing another Krookodile who let out a mighty roar and stomped his feet. "Honda! Hone claws!" The Krookodile let out a hiss and used hone claws to up his attack and accuracy. This next hit he'd land wouldn't miss.

The facade hit the with double the power thanks the the scrafty's burn but Juliette shook it off. The charizard shot a FLAME BURST toward the scrafty but the special attack would splash the flames toward the zoroark as well. Taking note of the zoroark's honed claws Shae contemplated her next move.
"Take a bite out of him," Shae told her krookodile.
Taking a more direct attack than Juliette, Kole chared in trying to CRUNCH down on one of the zoroark's arms. The captain smirked in approval, maybe if she played this right she would beat this man just as she first bragged.

The switch up took both the charizard and krookodile by surprise, Kole was hit with the brick break causing him to lose quite a bit of health. The aerial ace was the end of it, falling to the ground Kole let out a low growl.
Shae returned the beast to its pokeball, unhappy with her performance. Waving a hand signal at her charizard she turned her attention back to Harley. Juliette let out a loud roar as she breathed out a FLAME BURST directed at the scrafty, she paused taking in a deep breath before roaring again with a FLAMETHROWER directed at the zoroark.
"Straight to the point I see," Shae smirked at the man. "My most wonderful ship is know as the Doyle." The captain spoke of her ship as if she were speaking of a rare jewel. She knew the reputation her ship had and she wondered if he would recognize the name for the cruel place it was. "And you? What do you call the ship you hail from?"

Finally, the Krookodile was down, making Harley breathe a sigh of relief. He ran a hand through his hair before focusing his attention on the Charizard. "All right, both of you need to be careful!" he called out. Honda merely grinned maliciously, his claws extending once more as he swept forward in a night slash, running right into the flamethrower to do so. Tommy put his hands up again before being hit once more by the flame burst -- combined with the burn, he went down with a flop on the floor, and Harley called him back. "Aye, you're giving me a run for my money." He still had one Pokemon left, but he wasn't unfair. He didn't want to gang up on the woman with two on one. Besides, a cornered woman was even more formidable than any other person.
Harley grinned and put his hand on the back of his neck. "Ah, the Doyle! No wonder you're so familiar, I believe I've had a run in or two with your crew before!" he called back, running his hand through his hair. "I'm on the Nocturne." He crossed his arms over his chest and rose a critical brow at her -- he had certainly heard of the ship's formidable name, that was for sure.

Juliette had not expected the dark pokemon to come charging at her through her own attack, the attack hit her rather hard and the charizard let out a roar of pain. Shae's brows frowned, it seemed that she wasn't going to win this battle after all. "Juliette, smoke screen then flamethrower!" the captain commanded. The reptile roared again bellowing out a large cloud of black smoke with SMOKE SCREEN to cover her. Hopefully making it difficult for the dark type to see her. Still having an idea of where the zoroark was she let out one more loud roar releasing a FLAMETHROWER.
Shae didn't doubt that she had run into the man before, she didn't discriminate against who she tried to steal from. Civilian, aristocrat, pirate. Who cared as long as she got some pretty shiny things out of it? "Oh I am sure that I have run into a few ship," Shae spoke in what she considered a flirty tone. "Though I must have not joined my crew on that venture because I am sure that I would remember such a pretty face." The woman laughed winking at the man.

Harley winced a little as soon as the woman called out her moves. Smokescreen... perhaps he needed to get that move, he didn't have very good getaways. With a bite of his lip, he pondered his next move. The Charizard roared and let out a flamethrower once more, which made Harley snap into action. "Into it again! Aerial ace!" he called. Honda nodded and went into it, launching his lithe body into the air and letting out a roar of pain as the flames singed his fur. His sharp claws were extended as he let out an aerial ace at the flying, fire breathing reptile.
"Ah, sweet words can't win me over enough for you to win this battle, dear," Harley confirmed with a flirty grin, tilting his head to the side and hooking his thumbs into his pant loops. "Aye, you weren't, though. I'd certainly remember you as well." That wasn't a lie, either. She was beautiful, sure, but there was something haunting and cold about her that Harley couldn't put his finger on. She was vengeful and cruel... a true pirate.

The dark pokemon used the same tactic again, attack through Juliette's fire. It was a smart way to find her in the smoke, for sure, but the reptile didn't appreciate it. Cringing as the claws of the zoroark dug into her flesh. She wrinkled her nose, it wouldn't be smart of her to leave herself without a pokemon in the middle of a meadow full of wild creatures.
"I know when I am defeated," Shae returned her weakened pokemon to it's pokeball. "I guess today you are the better captain," Shae didn't like to hear the words come out of her mouth but she knew it was true. For today at least. "You do put up a good fight, for such a pretty man," the woman's tone was cold, irritated with her loss.
"I will have to meet you again," she paused for a moment as if thinking to herself. "Captain Dawson," knowing the name of his ship the woman could recall the man's title at least. She curtsied this time proper and without mocking, "perhaps a rematch will be in order sometime." The woman turned to walk back the way she came. "With higher stakes next time!"
