He is exceedingly stubborn, and while he'll follow orders,without question, he doesn't take to well to advice. He thinks with 13 years under his belt, he knows it all and has seen it all. He is headstrong, brash and impulsive, and rarely thinks before things come flying out of his mouth, or whether or not they are impulsive. Having been with pirates since he was nine, he has quite an interesting set of words already. He is exceedingly arrogant and he hates the word "kid" and claims he'll sucker punch anyone who calls him that, though the threat is probably empty.
While he can act a little bratty,he is generally a good kid. Well , as good as you can get being around pirates and all. As he hasn't been aboard for long, and is still rather young,he hasn't lost all of his child-like innocence. Despite his rashness, he is also quite intelligent, able to think quickly on his feet to try and get out of messy situations.He is also loyal to a fault, and would do anything to a friend. He still misses his mother quite allot, and thinks of her often. She had done her best with him, but as she was a single mother trying to support them both, she didn't always have the time to spend with him that eithjer of them would have liked. This, coupled with the lack of a father figure early on, often made him act out to try and get attention, a habit he still practices, for fear of perhaps being forgotten. As he mature's hopefully he'll calm down and become more level-headed.

He is fun-loving, and sometimes comes off as overly hyper. While some kids claim trouble finds him, he proudly boasts he hunts down trouble all his own. He doesn't know the meaning of the phrase, curiosity killed the cat, and is often reckless, and doesn't think things through allot of times.
